The Swiss association Together Human is committed to helping people in need. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

History<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In winter 2014, it all began with an appeal on Facebook to donate knitted caps to the company. We wanted to give these to children who had fled from the conflict in Syria and Iraq. This winter was particularly hard in the Middle East and there were constant reports of children freezing to death in camps in Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon. Civil society had to step in. Like many other people, we heard the obligatory, moral call. Time to act!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The association was founded on 1 February 2015 with the then name \" StrickW\u00e4rme \" (KnitWarmth), because more than 800 kg of knitwear had already arrived in the first weeks following the call. The helpfulness of the population was overwhelming. As a result, we were faced with the necessity of creating structures to be able to handle the amount of donations. The first humanitarian operations in Jordan and Iraq soon followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the following months the association developed further, we opened an account, built a homepage and became active on social media. After the first sensitization projects, further aid projects in Greece and Croatia followed. Although our association is still young, much has already been achieved. It is continuously developing into a serious aid association for the needy and people on the run. This would not be possible without the excellent commitment of many members, helpers and supporters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1.1.2020 the association was renamed \"Together Human\" in order to reflect the increasingly broader orientation, in which lovingly knitted or crocheted products will continue to have a place in various aid projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
